A full eye exam includes comprehensive vision testing to determine your current prescription for glasses, and a thorough eye health check including diagnostic tests for glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration. Comprehensive exams also include digital retinal imaging to diagnose and monitor conditions of the retina and optic nerve (diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive retinopathy, glaucoma, and various other retinal diseases). We welcome all family members to book a comprehensive exam including adults, seniors, children, infants, and those requiring special care.
OHIP covered eye exams cover the basic vision test, but do not cover the comprehensive testing recommended for full standard of care. Fees may apply to OHIP covered individuals when booking a comprehensive exam.
